2018 NMJG End of the year BBQ and Camp out September 29th
Set the Date for Saturday, September 29th.
The Place, Cedro Peak Campground, ROBIN Loop
We have reserved the group area until Sunday morning at 0900 so if you would like to bring your tent or camper along please feel free to do so!
There are charcoal bar-B-Q’s to use if you would like.
NMJG will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and water.
If a few people have propane BAR-B-Q’s that they are willing to bring, we will have those available to use also.

We Will be doing our final Raffle of the year and giving away Many more items.

Each year we have a cook off of some sort.

Cedro Peak Campground is located in the Manzanita Mountains just 14 miles from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pinon Pine and Juniper dominate this 7,400 ‘ high arid landscape. The campground is situated amidst 80 miles of single track and equestrian trails. Limited off highway vehicle trails are available. This group area has an area with covered tables and a large fire ring for camp fire events.

From Albuquerque, travel east on I-40 to Tijeras, Exit 175. Continue south about a half-mile on Highway 337 to the District Office to pick up the key to the picnic area. From the office, continue south on Highway 337 about five miles to Juan Tomas Road. Turn east and continue about a mile to the junction with Forest Road 252. Turn onto FR-252 and continue about a mile to the campground.
We are planning a few trail runs to the steps, the peak and a few other locations.
